Ovens full of lovin’

IMG_6134

Last year Olive and I staged a cheesy V-day photo shoot and sent out Valentine’s Day cards to our friends and family. As Valentine’s Day approached this year, I realized that I’d almost forgotten about this tradition that I’d started and so earnestly vowed to continue.

Since I got a late start, the cards didn’t make it in time for Valentine’s Day, but I thought I’d share a few of the outtakes here in the meantime.

One sunny morning in early February, Olive put on the apron her talented Grandma made her, I put on my matching one, and then I bribed her with mass quantities of chocolate chips to participate in VDay Photoshoot 2016.

I think she loved it almost as much as I did.

Behold, the glorious results. It was a little bit cheesy, a little bit campy, and lots and lots of fun.

It’s cheesy. It’s cutesy. It’s adorable and I really must remember to steal this idea next year! You two kill me! 🙂
