For the climbing? It has begun.
And thus, this, the last shred of my sanity disappeared from this world forever.
Please pray.

A friend of mine had a climber and yes it was nerve wracking but I believe the child turned out to be a gymnast so you never know. Her husband told her to relax but I remember when Charlotte fell- my fault not hers I could have died
so scary
We have had to use bungee cords to temporarily affix our dining room chairs to the table to keep our children from climbing up onto the table, and/or from pushing the chairs around in order to use them to climb other surfaces like countertops, the sink/stove, or at this time of year, the Christmas tree. It was the only way I could maintain a (granted, tenuous) hold on my sanity too! :-). Good luck– I hope you will be able to find ways to let Olive safely explore her world without losing your mind and if all else fails, reframe it for yourself: Be thankful for her inquisitiveness and determination; they are good qualities to nurture in our children!
Get her one of those “invisible helmets” : )
Oooh she’d look so stylin’!

When my nephew was that age, my sister in law was heard to say that she was sure there was a monkey somewhere in the family tree.
