awww, look at Gus in this video, just hanging at the window by himself and thinking, “whatever, jumping is stupid.” (can’t say anything on the privacy issue because i’m paranoid and don’t even like to post pictures of myself.)

That is precisely what Gus is thinking. He’s not very impressed with Olive, and I get the feeling that he’s disappointed in us for being so fascinated by her. In her early days she was really tough to burp (or we were crappy burpers, more likely) and after patting her back for five minutes, Gus would sidle up beside us, sit down, let out a huge belch and then sigh loudly. Like, “THAT’s how it’s done.”

When she starts dropping food from her highchair, I have a feeling she’s going to seem a lot more interesting.
