What happens when you treat your dogs like babies

Me: It’s going to be a total nightmare having kids with you
Adam: Oh hey you reminded me, I had a dream about our kids last night
Me: Really.
Adam: Yeah, we had a daughter and she was three.
Me: Oh cute! Did you know her name?
Adam: No…because, she was Gus.
Me: What?
Adam: She was Gus and we knew she would only live for like 8 years.
Me: …are you saying she looked like Gus?
Adam: No no, we just knew that she was. It was like, we knew she was one of those human-dogs, but she looked like a real kid. She was dumb, that’s how we knew she was Gus.
Me: Oh god.
Adam: Yeah, it was awesome.
